Wyburn-Mason Syndrome: A rare phacomatosis.
A 18-year-old boy presented with gradual diminution of vision, a whooshing sound in his head, and headache in left eye.
Fundus examination revealed large artero-venous malformations (AVMs) over the posterior pole.
Multimodal imaging with Fluorescein angiography and OCT confirmed presence of AVMs.
His MRI-Brain also revealed AVMs present in cerebrum confirming the diagnosis of Wyburn Mason Syndrome.

This is a fundus fluorescein angiography image of a peripapillary choroidal melanoma depicting the classic ‘DOUBLE CIRCULATION’ of the tumor. The overlying retinal vasculature as well as the tumor vascularity are distinctly visible. The image beautifully brings out the contrast between the two.

Familial benign fleck retina
A 23-year-old female patient was assessed after abnormal retinal lesions in both eyes were detected on a routine examination. Her unaided visual acuity was 20/30 OU. She had no history of nyctalopia. A dilated fundus examination revealed multiple discrete subretinal yellow flecks in both eyes. The lesions were distributed throughout the retina till the periphery, sparing the macula. Her color vision & visual fields were normal. Fundus Autofluorescence revealed hyperautofluorescence of the flecks. Electroretinogram(ERG) was normal. A diagnosis of Familial benign fleck retina was made.
