Title: The tumor is black, but life is colorful#seeacure #eyegetdilated
Description: Ultra-wide field retinal imaging for left eye of 54-year-old phakic healthy male showing inferior large choroidal melanoma and associated exudative retinal detachment (RD). This choroidal melanoma was diagnosed accidentally after dilated eye checkup for mild blurring of vision in left eye and presenting BCVA of 6/9. BCVA correlated with subtle extension of RD to fovea. After thorough metastatic workup showing no metastases, patient underwent enucleation. This case shows importance of dilated ocular examination even for subtle blurring of vision.
